CANPACK’S PATENTED ANODIZING TECHNOLOGY REWARDED WITH PRESTIGIOUS ‘GRAND WINNER’ AWARD AT CANTECH THE GRAND TOUR TRADE SHOW

KRAKÓW, POLAND (22 June 2022) – CANPACK Group’s innovations were celebrated at the recent CanTech The Grand Tour trade show, where its patented anodizing technology was rewarded with the most prestigious ‘Grand Winner’ award.  

According to the judges, CANPACK’s patented anodized aluminium two-piece beverage can was chosen as it “truly stands out from the crowd”. During the awards ceremony, the organizers of the event also stated that “the anodizing process looks to be a real gamechanger, in bringing a multichrome effect to cans”.

CANPACK’s patented method of anodizing itself ensures innovation as the coloured interfaced coating on the surface of the can creates a colour-changing effect depending on the viewing angle. The chemicals are also non-toxic, generating zero Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), compared to standard offset lithography.

CanTech The Grand Tour is a conference for metal packaging manufacturers from across the globe. The conference assembles technical experts from global suppliers and their customers, maximizing the channels of communication between key decision-makers in the metal packaging industry.
