In 2022 CANPACK’s ambitious new emissions reduction targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), an independent science-based body, which promotes best practice in the scientific sphere. As part of its emissions targets, CANPACK has committed to three core mission statements:

In addition to Science Based Targets, each plant in the Group has developed and implemented specific environmental targets that focus on five key areas: Electricity Consumption, Thermal Energy Consumption, Water Consumption, Waste Generation and Waste Recycling. The overall aim for our aluminium can business for 2025 against a 2019 baseline is:
