BOGOTA BEER COMPANY BRINGS ITS LA COTIDIANA CRAFT LAGER BEER IN CANS FROM CANPACK

KRAKOW, POLAND(February 1, 2020) – CANPACK, one of the largest manufacturers of metal packaging in the world, was chosen by Bogotá Beer Company (BBC) to bring its ‘La Cotidiana’ craft lager beer made with 100% natural ingredients to market. CANPACK is the first manufacturer to can craft beer in Colombia, creating access to locally-made, craft beer across the country.

“In Colombia, the beer market hasn’t grown much yet, and the standard consumer thinks craft beers are heavy, bloating, too expensive and only for special occasions. So, we decided to change this perception by creating an everyday beer with craft credentials, “La Cotidiana”. While its roots are in Central and Eastern Europe, CANPACK is expanding operations around the world. Back in November 26^th, 2019 the company held a grand opening event at its CANPACK Colombia facility, allowing it to expand production and work with companies like the Bogotá Beer Company. With this new facility, CANPACK is the first producer in Colombia with the ability to deliver both standard can sizes and unique can formats. The facility employs more than 200 direct employees and is now expanding from primary annual production capacity of 1.3 bln cans into 1.9 bln in 2020.
