Determined to play our part in transitioning to a greener business model, we’ve made several significant investments across our business to increase our use of cleaner energy over recent years. Perhaps the most momentous change we made was in 2022 when we made the strategic decision to run all of our plants on renewable electricity – achieved primarily through the purchase of SBTi approved certificates. However, this hasn’t been the only major investment we’ve made. Across many of our sites we have installed solar panels to help power our plants – including installations in Poland, the UK, India and Slovakia. In addition, in our drive to encourage the greater use of electric vehicles, we have installed electric car charging points at our plants in the Czech Republic, Poland and the Netherlands. In the US we have even installed a state of the art, onsite electric truck that is able to move trailers around the site.
