CDP Awards CANPACK the Highest Supplier Engagement ‘A‘ Rating for Promoting Reductions in Emissions Across its Supply Chains

KRAKÓW, POLAND (April 13, 2023) – CANPACK has recently joined a small but growing group of businesses that are trailblazing a path to truly meaningful environmental action. The company has been recognised by CDP with a Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) of ‘A’, which promotes CANPACK to ‘Leadership’ level for this important measure.

CDP is a not-for-profit group that runs a global disclosure system to help business and social organisations manage its environmental impacts. CDP’s ratings are regarded as the gold standard of environmental reporting, with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate action available.

The Supplier Engagement Rating looks beyond the sustainability of a company’s own operations to focus on the wider impact of its suppliers. Companies that achieve an ‘A‘ rating for SER are put onto CDP’s public leader board to demonstrate and encourage best practice. CANPACK is now among the upper quartile of companies in the Metal Products Manufacturing Activity Group that have reached Leadership level.
