KRAKOW, POLAND (May 2020) – Giorgi Global Holdings, Inc., the owner of the CANPACK Group, a global packaging manufacturer with its headquarters in Krakow, has been ranked among Top 10 U.S. investors in Poland by shareholders funds (2nd position), asset value (3rd position) as well as operating revenue (6th position) according to the latest American Chamber of Commerce in Poland Report issued in April 2020.

The AmCham in-depth research into American investment in Poland highlights the important role U.S. capital, technology and know-how continue to play in Poland’s economic success to date. U.S. investments stimulate industry, influence the development of local communities and generate employment growth in various regions in Poland.

According to the AmCham data Poland is still considered to be an attractive market for U.S. investments. Companies from the United States are the second largest group of foreign investors in Poland (11% of all foreign direct investments) influencing significantly the Polish economy. Active assets in Poland held by American investors is over $54 billion, which is nearly PLN 205 billion. The AmCham estimates also that the strong investment and growth of U.S. companies have committed approximately 63 billion over the last three decades and sustained over one quarter million jobs both direct and through value and supply chains. The report also shows that more than half of American investment in Poland is related to industrial sector and manufacturing.
