CANPACK GROUP RANKS HIGH ON THE “LIST OF 500” LARGEST COMPANIES IN POLAND

KRAKOW, POLAND (May 5, 2020) – The CANPACK Group, a global packaging manufacturer headquartered in Krakow, was ranked 41^st in the 22^nd edition of the “List of 500” largest companies in Poland published by Rzeczpospolita daily. The company has grown by eight positions compared to the last year’s edition.

In addition, the CANPACK Group has been named among four companies awarded by the Kapituła Orłów jury, represented by the most recognized economists in Poland. The company was awarded in the Industry category.

The “List of 500” is the most complete ranking of the largest companies in Poland and provides a comprehensive summary of the economic situation. The ranking is based on 2019 financial data, as well as covers information about investment and employment.

In 2019 alone CANPACK started production of its greenfield beverage aluminium facility in Columbia, and announced its new investment in Czechia, where the company will shortly launch production of aluminium beverage cans for the Plzensky Prazdroj brewery, the owner of the Pilsner Urquell brand. The company employs nearly 8,000 people worldwide and runs business operations in 19 countries.
